The Spring legislative session begins today as a major threat has grabbed our collective attention. 🇨🇦 Premier @davidebybc.bsky.social and his BC NDP team are focused on protecting BC from the threat of Trump’s unjustified tariffs, and standing firm as Trump threatens Canada’s sovereignty.

To protect BC jobs, businesses and economic prosperity from global threats, we need to keep working to make sure BC isn’t in this position ever again. It’s full steam ahead on strengthening our economy through major projects to deliver wealth and high-paying jobs to communities.

This builds on green light given to 9 clean energy projects last December.

As we gather today to say goodbye to John, I’m reflecting on how much love John had for this province and its people. Today, we aren’t just saying farewell to a leader but to a friend. His wife, Ellie, and sons, Evan and Nate, remain in our thoughts and prayers.

BC deserves the same benefits as other provinces. We will fight for fair treatment and rather than focus on a two-month holiday, we’re gonna deliver a $1,000/household middle-class tax cut, that will benefit families every year on a permanent basis. Because people need significant relief. (1/2)
