After being given an order from our CRT and instead of doing the right thing, X refused to fully remove a non-consensual intimate image of a BC resident from its platform. Blocking access to the image only within Canada is not enough. These harmful images shouldn’t be available anywhere.

Extortion threats in our communities are completely unacceptable. Today, BC brought all levels of government together with police services to coordinate & collaborate on more actions, increase victim supports, & align resources. Today, we shut down a Bill introduced by OneBC to recall Truth & Reconciliation Day - the words spoken were painful and rooted in denying the history of residential schools. Enough is enough. The only recall that needs to happen is a recall campaign of the OneBC MLAs.

On Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honour the people lost to anti-trans violence and join in solidarity with trans, non-binary, Two-Spirit and gender-diverse people everywhere. Together, we reject hate and work for a future where everyone can live as who they are.

This is unacceptable! Vulnerable people being targeted & extorted over social media. This is exactly why we recently amended the Intimate Images Protection Act, to ensure that people, especially young people, can reach out for support & get justice when someone threatens to share an intimate image.

Proud to say that we are continuing our work towards disability justice by removing the spousal cap for couples where both partners are on PWD. As of December 1st, couples will receive the same disability benefit as two single individuals. This change will benefit thousands of households across BC.

How exciting! With the opening of the new Indigenous law wing at the @uvic.ca students, facility, and community members can engage in dialogue around #Indigenous history and law, and expand their understanding of trauma-informed legal practice.

Today, we honour generations of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples who have served with courage. From the War of 1812 to Afghanistan, Indigenous veterans shaped Canada’s military history—yet many returned to discrimination. Lest we forget.

Three people tied to violent extortion have been removed from Canada. Offenders will be pursued, arrested, charged, and may be deported. Thanks to CBSA, RCMP, CFSEU, & local police in the B.C. Extortion Task Force. We won't stop until these criminals are brought to justice.

The Early Resolution Process is now available at Provincial Courts in North Vancouver, Pemberton, Richmond, Sechelt, & Vancouver Robson Square. This service helps families resolve issues like child & spousal support without going to court, reducing conflict & putting children’s best interests first.
