As I shared a few weeks ago, we introduced legislation this fall to bring more clarity to the process of MCFD safety planning. What a humbling experience to pass legislation for the first time! The CFCSA is now explicit about the parameters of safety planning, making the process clearer for all.

Starting this school year, early literacy screenings for Kindergarten students will help kids by identifying reading challenges earlier, so they can get the support they need from the start 📚
