Today’s historic pic: 37 years ago today, BR railcar P126 runs the 1638 St Erth to St Ives at Carbis Bay, Cornwall, UK, April 8 1988. The 7km St Ives branch, the last passenger line built to Brunel's 2134mm broad gauge, was converted to standard gauge in 1892 and still carries passenger trains today
