It’s got circuitry to handle routing EQ modified audio to a tape deck - and allowing you to hear the audio pre and post adjustments. I haven’t made a mix tape since the early 00’s, but that’s a pretty sweet function.

A good friend of mine gifted me her late step-father’s stereo EQ. I’ve wanted one for years, since my last one was stolen. I’ve since realized that most of the function of an EQ is handled by any modern HiFi unit. I’ve slotted it in between my CD changer and the stereo unit. It’s been fun. 🤩
