Took 29 of my 30 textile students on a trip today. To say I'm knackered is an understatement. The day was brilliant but on the run up I spent all my time assuming I'd fucked up the booking.

Popped down to Morrisons fish counter this morning, learned I should have gone yesterday as they do 20%off fish on Fridays, but I still declare this a success. Made some batter, deep-fried it, toasted brioche buns, and served with chips and salad and OH MY GOD! That was epic!

Many years ago, when I worked in Fashion (coughs in pretentious twat), I used to give this fella a lift to work. My commute was about 45 miles, and he was head of design, so on a good whack. He never once offered me any fuel money. I guess I was going that way anyway.....
