My daughter just started college and we can't even call the GI Bill Hotline due to the shutdown to find out why she didn't get her student verification email for September. Luckily, she's got enough in scholarships and grants that she doesn't rely on the GI Bill 💯, but it would be nice to have.

Reliable online support groups for chronic illnesses are hard to find. I just visited a forum for people with #ME/CFS and the first post I saw was about how the NSA was distributing nanobots through soda, the COVID vaccine, and chemtrails, and then activating the nanobots to cause pain. 🤷

I just realized that today I've been cancer-free for 19 years. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 malignant melanoma that had spread to my lymph nodes in April 2006 and on May 24, 2006 I had my third and final surgery to remove more lymph nodes. The 5-year survival rate for this melanoma is about 50%.
