I recently announced $25,000 in new funding for Tomchei Shabbos of Queens to support their kosher meal delivery program that provides meals to families and older adults in need. With this state grant, meals will be delivered directly, ensuring access to nutritious, kosher food throughout the year.

Today our community bid a final farewell to Gene Kelty — a longtime New York City firefighter and Queens Community Board 7 chair. Gene was a captain at Engine 10 on Liberty Street on September 11th. Our city is forever indebted to his service. RIP Gene.
