Making a video game is such an incredible act of hubris. You have to create the entire world for scratch. Every object, every rule. Exactly this! The platforms we have are too limited. Indie films have lots of smaller arthouse cinemas, small theatre groups have local theaters, musicians have live music bars. Games… None of that. We only get to dump our work on huge platforms that put the most popular thing at the front, always.
