Had a chat with a guy who was injured while protesting the Vietnam war. I asked him how the divisions today compared to back then. He said today was way worse. I always assumed there was some recency bias making it seem that way but even with his scars he thought those were better days.

Got stuck in a creative rut today and tried to use the LLM to help brainstorm my way out of it. After a few hours I’m further behind than where I started. Felt like talking to a mirror after a while, which was helpful in some ways but harmful in others.
