Just watched The Goonies with my kid for the first time, & by watching it, he realized that the band Chunk! No Captain Chunk! was named from it. I don't know them. I also had no idea that the Fratellis (band) were named from The Goonies too! And they have a song called Stay to the Right as a quote!

Talking to my kid, it just hit me that we're going to see Serj Tankian in October, and I got really really really excited.

Sameer Gadhia is one of few rock/alternative singers who sounds beautiful in recordings but even better live. Gah his voice. And the other 2 band members who sing are also lovely!
