Something I get a lot of joy out of is #crafty projects. Currently I'm on a diamond painting roll. I've made a few Christmas ornaments, but am also experimenting with freestyle using pokemon sprites 😊

get past the idea of perfection. every artist you know and love is constantly learning and thereby constantly improving. perfectionism will kill your creativity. you gotta make stuff that looks bad before you can make stuff that looks good.

Gently nudging myself out of hibernation mode by giving myself something to work on - until the end of February I'm going to properly learn to work with React :) I did a crash course a few years ago and feel like I don't remember anything from that at all. Time to brush up on it!

The year is a week old and I've already had two absolutely amazing cups of coffee. Both made in my own home. One was with the perfect amount of caramel syrup, and the other was half chocolate milk, half coffee. I have to post about this to remind myself that life is about the little things.

I really want to try to pick a project to focus on this year and see how far I can really come if I put the effort in. I love to move around between project wips, but the thought of ending the year with something bigger is extremely appealing.

Pokémon Picross is genuinely so good, it's a shame they put huge paywalls on progressing. Most days I can only do the daily training until I have enough picrites to unlock the next area, which then only releases about 6 new puzzles before I'm stuck again. And yet its the best picross game I know!!!
