I mean, The Game Awards has always been a glorified ad block that seems tangibly inconvenienced by honouring the people who make games. It's not a surprise that any gesture towards supporting the people or the culture around games is... well. Exactly that. A gesture.

The stuff so many former Games Awards "Future Class" alums are sharing is shocking. The organisation selected the brightest and brightest — then rudely demeaned them, making it 1000% clear they were *only* there to act as TGA "we're a nice brand, we love devs" window dressing.

Good cinematography in #SilentHillf. The initial monster encounters are tame — slow, jerky broken dolls you could dodge all day — but there's a welcome dash of the weird with the Shinto stuff. I'm in enough to see where it goes next.
