I think I like hammock better than Lyra, although both are fun and neither is pain free. One hurts because it's a metal hoop and the other because the fabric gets wrapped around you tightly.

Saw a Cooper's hawk on a lamppost on the way home. Had house finches, white breasted nuthatches, a hummingbird, scrub jays, and towhees out back, the nest out front, a random young turkey vulture...it was a good day for birding.

I can confirm, we have at least one egg in the nest! I also saw a fledgling turkey vulture hopping along down the road, looking confused, but otherwise fine.

Am I still bad at lyra? Yes. Do I keep going anyways? Also yes. I'm not even sure I'll ever be good at it, but that's ok. We do not have to be good at our hobbies to enjoy them.
