The journal factory didn’t explode but the whole “when are you coming back?” “We’re happy you came” after seeing in real time the moments when things flipped to “when is she leaving?” just the day before is wearing on me more than ever.

Using this weekend as a reset - I need to get back to taking care of myself and using better outlets for my rage and despair instead of going into self destruct mode.

Next book to read since Rockstar Vampire Summer is a month away - I started it last year on my kindle but found the movie tie in version on my last trip to LA.

Finished “The Impossible Garden of Clara Thorne” last night by Summer England - and wow. I don’t think I’ve ever related to a character so much before. This book was one of the things that’s been helping pull me out of this spiral I’ve been in. I legit actually hugged the book once I finished it.

Welp got to the event and it’s pretty dead due to the weather. Trying to figure out if I should wait it out to see if it’s worth the cover to get in or just head home. I’m in full clown mode so can’t really rock up anywhere else.

In Lakeland for the first of two Halfway to Halloween events I’m headed to this weekend.

I have The Wicker Man on in the background while working today. Felt appropriate. Also, we love a secret musical.

I’ve accepted that my new obnoxiously big and round glasses I received yesterday make me look like a cartoon turtle but now my mom upon seeing a pic of them has said I look like Peabody. So that one’s gonna take some getting used to.

Fitting that I run out of my theatrical setting spray on my last ren faire day. Will definitely need to pick some up soon since that helps for theme park days too.

Solo trip tomorrow to my last ren faire until November. Gotta make up for showing up so late two weeks ago and missing most of the festivities.

Got a small update last night that pulled me out of my spiral - but back to waiting on the final decision. But I’m much more optimistic now than I was for the past couple of days.
