1701 PRINT "HELLO COMPUTER" Interfacing with a scifi future in 1976, with computer and Trek geekery joining forces to explore computer space. But first, you'll have to type in three pages of dense code - and hope it was printed correctly to begin with.

Watsfic is the University of Waterloo's Science Fiction & Fantasy Club (a remit it defines broadly). This year is its 50th anniversary. Posted with permission: (con't)

Should be clear by now that Canada is the subject/target of a concerted disinformation campaign waged by the Trump administration and aimed at the US population.

🎮 Retro games shaped generations. But many are vanishing. Some, like educational games by Yaakov Kirschen, who died on April 14, were almost lost forever. Journalist

Putting the Arctic Ocean closer to the center, this brings the Greenland Canada gambit into focus. It is a grab for power, money, water, and resources, also giving the US complete control over the Northwest Passage. Fentanyl and the border are a smokescreen for a much bigger project: theft.

Last night’s night’s lullabye offering was Cohen. It resonated, but many blocked, dropped or called me divisive. Huh? Art is a cave drawing, line in the sand, canary in the coal mine. It’s where we get real. It’s not defeatist, it’s honest, and that gives me hope.

Strongly agree. There’s a lot of energy and talent in Canada that can and should be channeled towards self reliance and national service. Our Nordic friends have given us a model. I’m ready.

Not sure what you're basing this on. We have zero evidence the Government of Canada has provided the King with *any* direction on this file. If the government formally advised Charles to make a statement as King of Canada, he would be obliged to do so. There's no evidence the UK is negating this.
