On Friday, played my first gig with Dayflower. My daughter snapped me!

Playing an actual real gig tomorrow. For chime and jangle, I think I'm in a good position here.

I've been invited into a band to play some jangling guitar, as they had a vacancy for such a thing. I'm really utterly delighted. Haven't played a note together yet but looking forward to a gig in July. Lovely. I miss playing in a group....

I've managed to fit my entire "studio" requirements and archive storage of almost everything I've recorded into a small wooden cigar box with one usb cable sticking out through a little gap.

I can remember being about 5 or 6 years old and "More Than a Woman" was on the radio. "Bald head women?" quipped my grandad and it was one of the funniest things I'd ever heard. Kriz Moyalls made the same joke on the radio in about 2000 and I'm still crestfallen at the memory.

If I record 30 seconds of guitar, I can "put a single out". *Goes for a walk*

Gents. Posters up quoting Radiohead in one and Oasis in another frame. Can't stop the part of my brain which likens it to seeing "All my love. All my kissin'" and "I found my thrill...." up on the walls in the gents when I was first a pub goer..

I haven't gone to such a large quantity of events/gigs/stuff/social occasions this year that your hair would curl..... I kept meaning to.....
