There's also this charity, the Bail Project, that pays the bail of individuals who cannot afford their own freedom. This includes those in poverty and protesters exercising their first amendment rights. Bail can be refunded to the payer, so that's a long way to stretch a $. bailproject.org

Another new print I made this month. Experimenting by carving onto a clear lino that were pre-cut into circles. Was inspired to try a greenman as a roundel.

POTS person here: If you feel woozy, dizzy, or tingly even with drinking water, your electrolytes are probably off. High sodium can fix it for short term. Think Pickle Juice, V8, or even just one of those tiny salt packets. Then work on other electrolytes like Potassium and Magnesium.

The past weekend has been colonoscopy prep from hell. I literally vomited for 20 minutes after my final dose last night. The procedure was this morning & I don't have to do this again for 10 years. Which is too soon, imo. So exhausted. Feeling better than last night but damn.

Reminder- using reference for art is NOT cheating. Depending on what type of artist you are, you should absolutely be using it. All highly skilled pro artists I know use it. Art isn't a party trick, we don't have to be in the business of impressing ppl with the process. Don't hold yourself back.

However this morning was chaos as my car overheated and died on the way to the crafts center. It was towed to a repair shop, so that was anxiety I didn't need.

Working on my second woodblock print, a jaunty turtle wearing a fez because why not?
