Instead of voluntarily recognizing our union, they've forced us into a redundant and drawn-out election process, rather than listening to the overwhelming majority of employees who signed our initial letter to management.

Since the announcement of our union, Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro have hired Fisher Phillips (a union avoidance firm), and chosen to engage in a daily union-avoidance campaign by sending emails to the Arena team that is spreading misinformation and sowing fear among our colleagues.

🚨 The NYT appears to have taken a great feature story written by my colleague at Bolts about a west Tennessee county & the VRA, & essentially rewritten it. (Same frame, similar hed, overlapping sources.) Without a single mention, credit, let alone the a hyperlink buried somewhere.

it felt trivial at times to be writing about video games at rikers, which is so notoriously dangerous for incarcerated people. still, play and, specifically, video games are a meaningful piece of the lives of the ~12 young men i met and played with at rikers. read:

nonzero chance the FBI is plugging LLMs into wiretap data under the legal theory AI alone can’t implicate 4th amendment concerns (semi-known 702 issue). or the NSA has now hard coded wiretaps across all newly built US data centers due to expanded ECSP scope. or probably both.
