All 4 screws sheared on the bottom bracket, extra bracket added and all screws replaced. Several more had sheered when I took them out. Dodgy DIY complete.

Digging in the front garden is always an adventure, seems like the builders dumped a load of rubble under there and covered it with topsoil. This is one of the bigger lumps to come out so far. Thankfully the back gardens fine.

Airfix were feeling generous, only ordered a single brush to meet the free shipping threshold.

I always forget the before pic but there’s been a big cut back at the front of the house. Just on done now then maybe some new plants to go in. Working in the garden seems to be helping in my recovery.

Unusual flyover for us this evening - presume it’s an A400 Atlas as second pic. Maybe with drop tanks fitted.

Been quiet lately due to health issues but despite waking up far too early I did get to watch a couple of our house martin nests take their first flights this morning while it did some yoga outside in the cool.

A bit more gardening yesterday and some pinks in flower.

Watched the first couple of episodes of Murderbot and enjoyed it enough to go looking for the books it’s based on. Really enjoyed it so that’ll be a nice diversion from my usual history consumption.

Nice to see somewhere local pop up.

Today was a struggle but there has been gardening at least.

Not had the best day but had a quiet evening reading @robinince.bsky.social new book. Decided to mark all the bits that resonated… only halfway though. It’s a thoroughly excellent, accessible and informative read.

Mid build on my first big stompy knight and they go and reveal a new one.

"Regular" people conforming to social standards is like having to wear a slightly uncomfortable suit or dress to a fancy event. Neurodivergent people conforming is like being forced into a straight jacket that restricts your breathing and being expected to smile like everything's fine.
