Went to see GP this morning feeling slightly foolish, because it's just about a tiny spot on the tip of my nose. Turns out it's not foolish - it's a basal cell carcinoma, which is treatable and not life threatening - but shows how important it is to get skin lesions investigated!

What a brave person! I could not do that. People who splashed paint on an RAF plane should be prosecuted for criminal damage, not terrorism. And the commander of the RAF base where they were able to get in should be court-martialled for lax security. This government is shameful.

Travelled from Avignon to Abergavenny by train yesterday. Had amazing assistance from railway staff at most of the interchanges. The couple of times that failed, other passengers were incredibly kind. It’s easy to lose sight of how good and kind most people are.
