Of all the giant spider movies I've seen on #Svengoolie, this one ranks pretty low. It's definitely no "Tarantula". Of course, that had the benefit of having Mara Corday. Ah, Mara Corday... ♥️

For a series that only lasted 18 issues, that's a helluva a group of fans.

I couldn't take advantage of the last Taschen sale because even at half off, their books are pricey, but I did get this one today for a helluva good deal off of Facebook marketplace.

I've been reading this & the letter columns themselves are as interesting as the series. Letters from Doug Moench, Alan Brennert, Jenny Isabella, Geoff Darrow, and Wendy Pini (who met her husband, Richard Pini, through correspondence resulting from a letter to this comic).

It's a funny movie, but that twist at the end is very effective, emotionally. Recontextualizes a lot of the first film in particular. I haven't seen MIB International, and... I'm not really in any hurry to. That's a fine ending to the trilogy and the franchise as a whole, in my opinion.

Might as well finish off the trilogy. While it doesn't beat the original, it's a huge improvement over the second. Helps that I'm such a sucker for time travel, too.

I am heartbroken. Today, our sweet, loving boy, Bono, crossed the rainbow bridge. He was one of the gentlest souls in the world. I'm going to miss his face so much. Rest well, sweet boy.

I just want to nerd out about comics, old movies, tv shows, etc...I've done it in several social media sites and I'm sure Bluesky won't be the last.

Those posts always come from reporters or pundits. And I get why they would be more concerned with the metrics of a social media site they're using. But for the experience most of us want, it doesn't matter if a site has 1 million users or a hundred million. In fact, smaller is probably better.

Much needed

This so pathetic, but the ceiling lamp in my home office has three bulbs & two burned out a while ago. I haven't been able to get the ceiling lamp cover to unscrew for months. I finally lost the last bulb two days ago and it took me two hours today to open it but I finally did. Now I have light!

I just donated to Trans Lifeline. The Trans community has been under attack for years now, it keeps getting worse, and they need help.
