It’s the anniversary of Hogarth’s birthday. The dog you have is always the best, but Hogarth was a special guy.

I'd considered going to the new Frida Kahlo museum but then I remembered I don't really like her work, I like her as an icon though, which is pretty shallow for an art-lover. I do think I'll go to see some Remedios Varo artwork because she is an artist I do like.

Interestingly enough, thieves stole my great-aunt's tombstone from my uncle's pick-up truck but they abandoned it when they realized what it was. Back home, people are very superstitious about death so I bet that was a huge shock to them.

I had a lovely chat with someone who is involved in the travel industry, we had so much to share with each other! What I really liked about him was how generous he was with his experience and insights, particularly about publishing. It's so rare to meet someone that generous.
