On June 5, 2025, I started hunting for a shiny Mudkip in Pokemon Sapphire. Little did I know that I would spend the next eight months seeing absolutely zero shinies. No yellow pooches, no pink kips. He finally decided to shine today after a whopping 26,536 encounters!
