[2/5] The first step was to create a character for the website, and I'm delighted to introduce you all to Meryl! Meryl reminded me how much fun character design is, and I'm really happy with how this ref sheet came out! Also, turns out designing/drawing anthro OCs is really enjoyable! Who knew??

[3/5] Once we had a character design down, it was time to put her in a space, and where better than a window seat among shelves upon shelves of books? I'm not adept with backgrounds just yet, but I'm happy with how this came out as well! That said, it might be a while before I draw another book...

[4/5] Finally, we have social media to think of, so we put that key art into a banner (with SO many more books...) and came up with a logo design! The logo went through so many different fun ideas in the concept phase (Bookmark, book spines, index cards), but I think this one is nice and clear.

The cute pokeball bag I got at the Regionals, but I was able to pick up my first binder today! I also had to try all dressed chips while I'm here, of course. They were alright 🤷‍♀️

Toronto regionals was an absolutely magical experience! It can sometimes feel lonely shiny hunting from my bedroom all the time, but this weekend made me feel like I was truly part of the community. I got to meet and hang out with so many incredible people. I can't wait for the next one! 💖

Picked up the Japanese Pokemon Stadium that they got before Pokemon Stadium as we Americans know it came out. It’s *very* interesting and feels like a proof of concept more than a full game. There’s a VERY charming animation for using your cart of Red/Green with it.
