I am extremely annoyed by The Guardian claiming 'Romantasy has reclaimed the geeky fantasy dominion for women, celebrating female friendship, agency and sexuality'. This skewed view stems from the ongoing erasure of women writers in SF&F through fewer reviews, omission from 'Best of' lists etc etc

Total agreement. I remain so baffled over this because I dig out of memory the stuff I grew up reading in SFF and it's a small handful of male authors... and overwhelmingly the rest are female. I have(unfortunately) forgotten more of the Daw Yellow Books by female authors than I can remember.
