Joke's aside, this clip right here is why I always tell people to play Star Fox 2's higher difficulties. Normal is the tutorial. Hard is the real game. At LEAST play that. Expert is exhilarating, just an absolute test both of your skills in the ship and your ability to think on the fly. It's peak.

So, I know this is to stop anyone other than select people with codes from getting the game early, but like... what if I just blow $2K on it? Can I actually buy the game?

Hey so since Star Fox is back in the public mind, anyone know a mod for Assault to restore the JP face animations in the US version?

Went back and played some of Star Fox Zero last night. I have to say, I don't think we can really say it's a 64 remake. Same planets and characters sure, but the levels are all new, gameplay introduces lots of new mechanics, and there are new planets/stages entirely.

I may not like the designs right away, but that did put me in the mood for Star Fox. I'm gonna go play either Assault or Zero.

#RandomGameSaturday I'm very proud of this repro that I did of Dinosaur Planet (with the fantastic Dinomod). The cart is a Summercart64 set to autoboot the ROM, that way I can update the game with new patches. I love how my box art and label came out on this especially with the clear blue shell!

I've seen people talking about the Sega Saturn recently, usually comparing it to the PS1. I gotta say, regardless of the power under the hood, I really think the Saturn had a cooler style than the PS1.

Post the first game you actually completed! Yep, same here, it's a hard thing to remember, but as a Genesis kid I know it was one of these two. I'm leaning to Sonic 2 since I didn't play that till I was a bit older, and as a kid I had trouble beating Marble Zone in Sonic 1.

Seriously! Regardless of whether you think grading games is good or not, doing this with a rechargable device is a BAD idea! I'm really surprised how many people don't realize that batteries can eventually expand even if you're not using them and are a SERIOUS fire hazard!

Metroid Prime 4 is SO GOOD so far! I've only just beaten the Volt Forge boss, but I'm really into it so far!
