Anyone need custom sprites, tilesets or animations? I have 2 clients currently and everything's going well but I'm looking for one more small/hobbyist client (but paid) to work with, semi loose deadlines, but responsive enough every ~1-3 days just to keep a good project flow. Portfolio below.

The special VFX shaders will be done in-game. That was just a visual test. Here's some more variants of that original large crystal, though a few of these new ones are much too bright so I'll have to manually edit some of their color palettes.

Some of the hardest changes I learned pixel artists have to make if they want to freelance on games full time are: - Get 3 (chill) paying clients - Charge a fair price per task - Respond daily otherwise work easily slows down - Exercise, take breaks, game, chill, sleep, etc. It's quite a juggle.

Ok well I tried revising my first #Aseprite tutorial. Going back, I realized many of my tutorials are terribly written years ago😅 but people still love 'em so I want to get back into it and I miss creating a pixel art community on Itch. Let me know this is too long, too short, or just right please.

🙂 I think today's the day I put down the late night video games and go back to writing tutorials. Comments like this make me feel like it's something I should do more often instead of just freelance. Just gotta be more organized with my approach. I don't think I can go straight to teaching tilesets.

Alright, heat survival alert 🔥🔈 Look up what a cross breeze is. Basically open up a window and a door in your room and see if that helps. Also I know the struggle: it being so hot you want to lay down, but don't want to sweat up your bed, so lay a towel on the floor and lay on that instead.

I earned $45 for the day from freelance. I think I'm happy with that. Anyway I started a tutorial series for a "Zelda overworld" tileset on itch.io a long time ago but I abandoned it. I wonder if I should continue it. I feel like a lot of pixel artists want to know about how to make tilesets.

Apparently someone has put a crocotile-3d page on @github.com which links to a version with malware I've been told. I'm not sure when github will get around to dealing with it, but I suggest reporting it if you can so they get the message. I did, but I can't see a way to track the issue.
