Something to note for #avfc. In the opening 4 games we were terrible & took 2pts from NEW, bre, CRY & eve. (Goals 0 - xG 3.0) We've improved in the reverse fixtures taking 4pts. (Goals 3 - xG 6.2) Are these just bad matchups for Villa? Physically strong, good defence pace on the counter attack.

With all the cameras in the ground, why do we not have fixed cameras on the lines to get definitive answers on these in/out decisions? This is a billion pound league but that can't stump up a few quid for some basic cameras??? #avfc

Think Guessand will be decent at Palace. Works hard and seemed to be a decent finisher on the rare opportunities he got. Didn't have the tools to be an Emery right sided midfielder, but I'd anticipate that he'll do well in a more traditional front 3. Hope he does well so we can recoup the fee.

Another frustrating performance. Any shoots of optimism quickly stamped out.
