Last month Arizona Democrats made history by becoming the first state party to commit to ban billionaires and corporations from buying our primary elections. Democrats across our country have been inspired by our example.

I know there are many Republicans in the House who don’t want to bow to a king, blow up the national debt by trillions, or vote to let poor people die for loss of Medicaid so billionaires can get a tax cut. If at least 4 of them hold strong, Trump’s Big Ugly Bill will fail.

Trump’s bombing of Iran is an illegal, unconstitutional, reckless act of war that puts war criminal Netanyahu’s agenda before the safety and lives of American troops and citizens. AOC is right. For this grave offense and many others, Trump should be impeached.

Mahmoud Khalil is finally home with his beautiful wife and newborn son. Each one of the 104 days he spent detained was a grave injustice. From the moment of his detention, @ccrjustice.org + @aclu.org engaged my office as we worked closely to help secure his release. They did remarkable work here.

Even if you (wrongly) believe that some immigrants lack due process rights, what’s to stop the government from claiming that *you* are an undocumented immigrant; removing you to El Salvador; citing an “administrative error”; and refusing to do anything to bring you back? The answer is due process.
