Not gonna lie, I'm a bit frustrated because I need to do stuff to get income but with my monitor biting the dust suddenly, my options for making said income are considerably harder/not really possible to do. *Sigh*

An important caveat; no matter how much you might THINK it does, tearing down an imperfect candidate you don't like will NEVER produce a progressive candidate. Time & time again, all that's accomplished is causing a candidate you HATE for being regressive to win over the candidate you didn’t like.

A follow-through to this; be the change you want to see. Run for office, or if you can't, find someone sharing your beliefs to run and campaign for them. Samaritan syndrome applies to politics; don’t assume a progressive candidate will magically appear. You have to MAKE a progressive one appear.

There's an understated element that runs under the existence of "illegal" immigrants in America - the abject abuse and exploitation they face. Corporations use their cheap labor to save billions, they pay taxes into a system they barely benefit from, and are denied most basic legal protection.

One down, one to go. It took an hour-long call on the phone, but, it turns out I did indeed submit my documents correctly for health insurance, so it got reinstated. I should be good to go. Just need to do similar for food stamps now.

Case n point: I literally wrote and performed two brand new songs today. Neither will pay rent, medical bills, or groceries, despite my need for all 3. Nor do I have any viable path towards making them provide those eventually. Hard to be proud of a talent when I am failing to survive.

I really wish I could see the path towards surviving using the one thing above all others I am good at; words. I have million/billion-dollar ideas, but lack the skills/resources to make them. I’m a skilled songwriter, but lack the means to profit. I’m a writer and wordsmith. But all feel useless.
