Why is it so hard for people to realize they are voting against their own interests? A lot of (social) media consumed in EUrope is strongly influenced by Russia or (more recently) US-based actors which are working on destroying the EU, to rid themselves of this large force of peace and regulation.

Konservativ-bürgerliche Wähler haben bei der Bundestagswahl 2025 nur noch schlechte Auswahlmöglichkeiten, scheint mir. Sozial-links-grüne Wähler haben hingegen eine (zu?) große Auswahl an Parteien, die noch nicht durch überbordenden Populismus, Rassismus oder Menschenfeindlichkeit aufgefallen sind.

Ich hoffe trotzdem, daß viele potentielle CDU/CSU Wähler bei der Wahl Ende Februar für andere demokratische Parteien stimmen werden. Bundeskanzler Merz läßt sich dadurch vielleicht nicht mehr verhindern, aber wenigsten könnte ein stärkerer Koalitionspartner das schlimmste verhindern. 🤞🏼

Yesterday I've reached this amazing "flow state" we all long for and churned out a lot of code changes for 8h with only small breaks. When I got tired in the evening, I did some simple cleanup work and left the last hard task for today. Solved in an hour, merged an hour later. Small teams FTW!
