After #115 brews, time for a Roggenbier brew today for next month's @midscraftbrew.bsky.social meeting where we'll be looking at rye beers. #homebrew #homebrewing

An enjoyable evening listening to @tabamatu.bsky.social about his journey from home brewing to setting up @elusivebrewing.com at the Burton Bridge Inn. His book with Jamil Zainasheff , The Modern Homebrewer is recommended reading. It's full of up to date advice on brewing quality beers at home.

A few weeks ago a couple of our members joined the Firs to brew an Irish Red and today it on the bar for our meeting.

For today’s meeting we are at Camra WM club of the year 2022 & 2023 The Firs Codsall nr Wolverhampton. With its own nano brewery on site, it’s set to be a great meeting.

If anyone is interested in joining the West Coast Homebrewers, we are loosely based on the coast of Cumbria, meet up for homebrew chat & bottle swaps. Some of the folk have impressively engineered kit & I brew in a tea urn & buckets.
