Another fun year at #MidwestGamingClassic. Added to my SNES collection, went to some panels, played some 16 player Faceball 2000, and finally got to meet @stopskeletons.bsky.social and have him sign my Video Game Years DVD. Though there's never enough time. Much to do and less time to do it in.

I think I went a little Blokees heavy at #Dairycon this year. First time making this particular convention. It was much bigger than I expected.

One of the best puzzles I've ever put together. Quality pieces, good color, and enough details so there's no entirely boring spots. Now I need more puzzles based off Transformers box art. I had to give up on the Japanese Transformers movie puzzle last time I tried it.

Recently found a few of the TFCC magazines I need to finish my set at a book store. That left me with 5 to go. Then found an eBay auction with just 4 of those 5. No duplicates. Perfect. Now I just need issue #19 (and Timelines #8) from the years I missed.

My son asked me what the deal was with the tiny Optimus Prime I had on one of my shelves. I had no idea so I decided to do a little research and was pleasantly surprised to find I somehow have (thrifted?) a rare Dairy Queen kids meal toy from the G2 era in 1994. Yup, that's staying on the shelf.

Didn't buy too much at this year's Midwest Gaming Classic. Surprisingly I didn't get a single SNES game. But I did get the final seven Nintendo Power issues I needed to finish my entire set, so that's a feeling of elation I didn't expect.
