I feel some hope when I see how bravely so many people are standing up, and that some others are finally starting to wake up to this horrific situation. Still. I'm fucking angry. Absolute boiling fucking rage. Fuck ICE.

I'm angry because the things that are happening in this country right now feel like a violation of the innermost part of my conscience. Basic right and wrong. There isn't even a pretext of morality in what state agents are doing. Only a naked, barbaric urge to abuse and exert power over people.

He was on the ground, beaten, blinded, defenseless, his face soaked in pepper spray, and they shot him in the back. Now they walk free while the raping psychopaths in charge of our government slander the man they murdered and tell us not to believe what we see with our own eyes.

I can't remember the last time I felt so angry about anything. It's been like this for days now, coming over me in waves. I couldn't sleep last night because of it. I try to distract myself and pretend that I'm fine and I can't. I hate feeling like this.

I almost never comment on anything political because 1) I know people aren't here for that, and 2) I think it would look silly next to the type of stuff I usually post. Still, I pay attention to what goes on in the world. This week was hard.
