Good Boy does a great job of feeling like a horror movie from a dog’s perspective, but it often feels like a student film. The doggy ambience makes a fun theater experience though, and it’s more German expressionist than you expect. For horror+dog lovers, a treat.

Hush (2008). Tried to remember this movie's name for ages, tracked it down and it's pretty decent. Basically a mix of The Vanishing, Duel, and High Tension starring a guy who looks like an Oasis-loving twat. Agreeable straight-to-DVD sleeper.
