So this is what leveling up feels like. I've been having a string of *phenomenally* good days, since March 31st. Yesterday, I texted one of my best friends, "Do you want to go to the [local free] zoo and blow bubbles at the animals from a bubble wand jar?" and got the quickest DO I?!!! in reply.

I was well into my 40s when I stumbled across the word "aegosexual"-- & everything finally made sense! Even when I'd spent two decades as a sex worker, I never ONCE did anything w/o disappearing into the role of a fictional character. Never as ME. I just love that there are WORDS for who I am, now.

I need the joy so I can continue to multitask at my spite. And this morning I'm not sure there is any dichotomy quite as sharp as four nerds asking us to love our shared humanity, and a narcissist whose brain is entirely racist pudding threatening to end an entire civilization via shitpost.

Gotta have joy. I think people who criticize joy are those who are not accustomed to being afraid or alarmed about government. We have to have the joy because this is life. Many parts of our government and society doing ill is not new. Joy to get through it all. Yes.
