for anyone using the hetzner server console to debug stuff, the keycodes seem to get mixed up when pasting. i spent half an hour debugging why i couldn't ssh into a server and it turned out that the dashes in the fingerprint got turned into equals signs

i personally think a programming language doesn't need to be able to run complex logic to be one, but it's really difficult to convince people of that so it's just easier to make it run x86 assembly instead

we need more things we can all look up and see and go "huh" at. we've got lunar eclipses and solar eclipses but they aren't cataclysmic enough. one of these days the moon's gotta float like at half height for an hour or something

the Konami Python 2 will always be the peak of mid-2000s arcadejank to me imagine being an arcade tech back then, and you finally receive the kit to upgrade your cab from DDR SuperNOVA to SuperNOVA 2, so you open the case to get at the disc drive, and you're met face-to-face with this:

the true sign of a game being made by savvy designers isn't that it looks more realistic than the last, it's that it still looks good after a decade. realism ages terribly. style does not

Be aware that there are accounts attempting to steal session keys. This particular method won’t work using the Bluesky app for a couple of reasons, but third party apps may be vulnerable to similar attempts. We will attempt to automatically label these as Platform Manipulation.

i've only played deltarune chapter 3 so far but man has the wait been worth it. toby fox you've done it again it's a real shame though that the fmvs don't work on steam deck. the video of toby doing a kickflip really brought the whole skeleton yaoi scene together and it's not the same without it
