I caught this beautiful picture of the sky over the Mississippi River right before the storm broke and torrentially rained on me for my second glorious rainy run of the week.

Today’s greenwashing example. The energy used to make these trash bags may come from renewables, but the bag itself is plastic, which is a petroleum product. Also, the zero landfill facility makes a product whose destination is intended to be the landfill. What a crock!

It’s amazing how some albums just take on an outsized role in your brain. In the months heading towards my high school graduation, the guy who drove me to school in the morning obsessively played Dookie by Green Day. Now every May or so I can’t help but to give it a listen, and it never disappoints.
