Every music streaming service is in a race to the bottom and they will ALL get there eventually. The solution is to buy directly from musicians and curate your own collection that you own & play locally from devices you own. Simple as that.

Rented a dumpster for a week, got some some major yard and barn cleanup attended to. Last bits getting done today before they take it away tomorrow. If you drove by just now, you might have seen me toss the odd combination of three trashed snowshovels and two broken plastic pink flamingoes into it.

Had trio practice last night. Tried out two new cover tunes and took an old original off the shelf to work on a new arrangement for it. Drank tea. Had fun.

Current pedalboards. They are similar, but feature different flavors of dirt, and hints of modulation are available in the reverb pedal on the top board, but in the delay on the lower one. I set the tuner pedals off a bit so I'm less likely to mute everything when aiming for the dirt pedal mid-song.

Been off since last Wednesday for a five day Birthday Weekend (the day itself was Thursday). A splendid time was had. LOTS of music, including a living room concert last night featuring my dear friend @pugwalsh.bsky.social. And yes, I belted out a few harmonies with him. Absolute joy.
