Here's a pre-holiday holiday song. Do you know anyone who curates playlists on the streaming services or radio stations? This song has withstood the test of time around these parts but could use a seasonal bump out in the big old cruel world.

A long time ago on Thanksgivings, WBCN and WFNX played only acoustic versions of their usual playlist. BCN more classic and FNX alternative. It was the best while driving across Massachusetts switching between stations.

A couple days ago, while driving through the Berkshires, I was critically listening to the first run of masters for my new solo album, Almost Always Overwhelmed. A light snow on a grey day. It's good to listen in a car but maybe not while your ears keep not-popping while going up and down mountains.

I've lived in Massachusetts for my whole life. That's a lot of winters. You'd think I'd be used to them by now. In the past I think I was, but this year, this winter... I'm having trouble accepting it.
