I am autistic, and have POTS, EDS, and fibromyalgia. There's also a fairly intense case of cPTSD in there to enjoy. Disability Pride is great, but Disability Justice taught me dignity and community after a long grieving period. Look into Disability Visibility, Sins Invalid, Care Work. <3

This disability pride month, we hold on to whatever we can while we watch the country try to kill us. I don't need to "prove I matter", whatever the lawmakers say.

What radicalized me against the police are the 2020 George Floyd protests in Brooklyn. Peaceful marches descended into violence as the NYPD rioted. They pepper sprayed elected officials and beat protesters with batons. The press blamed us for it. I've never trusted the media on protests since.
