I'm running the final episode of our second season of #Deadlands #TTRPG today so I thought I'd break out the big guns by way of T-shirts.

Having a sort out of my man-den and rearranging my #boardgames. I have a few! Some of these haven't made it to a table in a long old time.

Busy with #TTRPG! This coming Monday will see the finale of Season 2 of our #Deadlands campaign. Shortly after that, I'll be playtesting the NUNA RPG for my buddy @tedankhamen.bsky.social. Then playtesting my 1-shot for Rolling in the Ruins games con with @breakfastruins.bsky.social Phew!

Season 2 Finale prepped and ready! It may be 2 episodes worth or it could be done in one. It all depends on the choices the posse make. Some surprises were revealed in the previous episode but there are a couple more to go yet!

We are live with issue 55! Containing two witchy reviews with both Wise Women and the Wonderfull Discoverie of Witches, these games are very different but quite a crossover! The slightest bit of sunlight and I'm out in it. I'm very lucky to live in a part of Wales where there are loads of lovely natural spots to walk and/or cycle. I've been out with my daughter, with friends, and also on my own. Altogether, I've cycled around 63 miles, and walked around 7 miles. Tidy.

I was sent this the other day by a buddy at just the right time. I was writing a game for a #TTRPG convention in June, to run for relative strangers. I was starting to lose faith in myself and my ability to write and run an enjoyable game. 1/2

#Deadlands ##TTRPG, S2 E8 was a blast! It was RP heavy, but the players did manage to learn that a book prop they've had since S1 E1, had writing in it that could only be seen in moonlight at an altar of the BBG! It was a lot of fun! Nearly at the season 2 finale. Write-up to follow shortly!

Episode 8 Prep Complete! Much later than I would have liked, I have managed to get everything out of my head, onto a page for #Deadlands #TTRPG Last episode was weighted towards action, this episode towards story and roleplaying. That's not to say they won't find a way to make it dangerous! 😂

Wales may have lost yesterday, but they put up another good fight. Coupled with the results today has made for a tidy weekend so far! Fajitas and some booze followed by the last 2 episodes of season 1 of The Pitt. Cheers all!

Currently taking part in one of my favourite parts of writing for #TTRPG. Finding the right pieces of music to accompany the scenes I've written. I remember hearing an interview with Andy Nyman on the @scarredforlife.bsky.social podcast where he said that music is another character in the story. 👌

Expensive Shopping Trip! Went with the family to Birmingham today for some retail therapy. I found an amazing FLGS that had the best collection of #Deadlands books that I've ever seen on a shelf. Along with some other things, I picked up a few books and am now skint (totally worth it!).

Work has been a challenge of late but I remain positive and have already secured a Plan B. Still, a lovely bright day at Barry Island (home of Gavin & Stacey) with the much better half, followed by a few beers, fajitas, & some episodes of The Pitt were just the tonic needed. Tidy.

Rolling in the Ruins - A day of Moorcockian RPGs - now has a venue in the heart of Bradford. Next step is to get it on WarHorn. A pint first though.

This month signifies the 25th anniversary for the much better half & I! To celebrate we've just booked 5 days in Gran Canaria in May for just the 2 of us. 25 years and we are still going strong, in fact, we both agree that we're stronger now than we ever were. Hope you've all had a tidy weekend.

Tonight's #boardgames - Mission Red Planet & Let's Slay. I really liked MRP. It ticked all the right boxes for me in a game. Lot's of different ways to score points and a few strategies forming. Then Let's Slay. Great imagery on the cards but I wasn't a fan of the mechanics. Wouldn't play again.

#Deadlands ##TTRPG solo number 2 completed. Twitch helped the German Weird Scientist, von Clanker to create some machines that may help them get past the snowdrifts and ended up finding out about the Lady of the Plains. Plus, it has ended on a bit of a cliffhanger! Write-up to follow this week.
