What an insanely demoralizing experience. I’m actually frustrated to the point of tears. I tried to go to the Texas Capitol today to register my opposition to a bunch terrible bills that dropped on committee today. All the information I was provided indicated that it would be easy. It was not.

Every time I hear some racist, white, asshole throw out the term DEI, I am reminded of Kathleen McElroy who despite being an editor at the NYT for 2 decades and running the Oklahoma State and UT Journalism Schools was screwed over at Texas A&M by the Regents because they branded her a DEI hire.
