I also wonder if Bergvall should actually spend a season learning under RDZ. ( unless RDZ does not want him at all). He still has glaring errors in his overall play. He’s young. He needs a coach to develop him. Will this happen where he moves? Dunno.

The Bergvall situation is a mess of our own making. If you buy a young talent, then, because you’ve fucked your actual main squad recruitment, have to throw him in, then don’t be surprised if he wants a bigger piece of the pie.

I think it’s right for Bergvall to want to play first team football. I think it’s right that he makes his intentions clear. I also think it’s right for Spurs to want £60M plus for him. 78 apps for Spurs in the most demanding league in the world. Smartest thing that Spurs could do:

Im happy if we end up with Tonali. Van Hecke pushing into midfield at times would offer additional progressive passes, also Porto may do similar. Wharton would be gold star levels, but feels like if we went for him, we’d immediately provide a marker for others clubs to leapfrog us.

I’m waiting for the revisionism of Spurs’ plight from certain parts of the media. That it was no big deal, nothing really to worry about because yaddayaddayadda….. It came down to the last game. That’s as close as it can fucking get. And what RDZ achieved in those final games is incredible.
