Don't let the gorgeous level design and cute characters fool you, Donkey Kong 64 was my generation's Dark Souls. The Switch's emulator rewind function has made this brutally unforgiving game straight up enjoyable - though nothing can redeem the racing levels. Or Diddy's jetpack. Or Beaver Bother.

So as most of you know I've been plowing through Star Trek TNG. I noticed Jonathan Frakes' weight fluctuations and when I went to look it up, saw that he often got notes telling him he needed to lose weight - personally, I would like to know who gave him those notes so I can hunt them for sport.

Started watching Starfleet Academy as it was airing because of the gay Klingon. That made me go back and start watching Discovery. Instantly, Sylvia Tilly became my favorite. I was very relieved when, the next week, she was on Academy - that meant they don't kill her off in Discovery!! 1/2
