My first #OnePlaceWednesday 👋 I had lovely find in the parish records of St Pierre du Bois, Guernsey yesterday: my 2nd great grandfather (the Rector!) forgot to record his youngest daughter’s 1866 baptism- then added a note in 1868 when he remembered. Nice reminder that ancestors were human too...

Update: my urgent "Guaranteed Special Delivery next day by 1pm" letter is trapped in some kind of Romford time loop - scanned as “delivered” five times in 24 hours, yet still missing. Hard to see what part of this is “Guaranteed.” #RoyalMailletter #GroundhogDay

Last year I researched the Kent Electric Power Co memorial. Yesterday I photographed another lost memorial for the Gas Company. Both WW2 workplace memorials, both Medway utilities, both 15 names. Some projects feel less like coincidence, more like serendipity. Time to begin telling their stories.
