After a very early start to the day with the prospect of having to drive 2+ hours to unlock a gate and shed averted, it’s time to take a book and snuggle up in bed- perchance to snooze for a while.

Never mind Pandora’s box.. opening cupboards and sorting through long stored stuff. 4 years of notes from a classical homeopathic course hitting the recycle pile. Kept the textbooks.

Packing up the city house is exhausting. I keep getting distracted by all the sentimental things I’ve kept and barely making a difference in what has to go or what to keep. Today was finding stamps: from my parents that were yet to be included in their stamp albums.

Mr and Mrs Magpie paying a morning visit and serenade. I’ll miss these two (& their offspring) when we go.

Tonight’s sourdough loaf: baked in a loaf pan with flaxseed and chia seed to improve texture/ fibre. 24 hour ferment. Ingredients not weighed but done by cup measures. Ordinary plain flour from supermarket. Tastes OK.

I wonder what’s going on in the universe? 2nd night in a row that I’ve slept around 11 hours with vivid dreams. I need a bit of energy to shake off the lethargy - so listening to this from the playlist of my youth. youtu.be/RlNhD0oS5pk?...

Off to have a second look at a potential new home. Done the numerology of the address (a 5) and it seems encouraging. We’ve seen another place 2x as well, but it’s very grey inside & out and I’m not sure that a 4 would work for me.

Emptying out the dresser to sort/discard or pack ahead of the move. From my China painting days. The dog was unfinished, probably due to having 2 kids under 2 & the homestead was aside as it got smudged in the firing process.

Just to cleanse my timeline, here’s a lovely photo of a frequent visitor.

Doctors visit today. Needed a repeat of BP meds that became necessary through the long process of selling the house. Fasted in case I needed to go for blood tests. Not needed. Not even a BP check. Script was printed almost before I sat down. Care factor: zero. 😲

Green paddock. Dog on leash. iPhone that can only zoom in so far. A possible sighting of an endangered species in the paddock that we’ve seen on and off for the last few years. Known to inhabit the general area.

Just harvested the nettles - all gloved up and they are now hanging in the shed to dry and to make nettle tea. First time doing this - so will I still need the gloves when they are dried?

Another round of solar lights to go & a bit of landscaping- I think a white pebble pathway would look good. Trampoline frame saved from going to the tip. The neighbors have already christened it a star gate & it fits well with the astronomy dome!

Saving the books from under the stairs after this week’s super stressful sewage failure. So lucky that we were home at the time and able to sacrifice towels to stop the flow from causing too much damage inside. Literally a 💩48 hours 🤢

Made the decision today to not do workshops next term at the community house due to packing up and moving. One door closes another will open.

Very proud of myself today. Just had a visit from 3 young god botherers and was really polite to them, wishing them all the best for their door knocking and hoped that they didn't get too cold or wet on their journey then came back in to draw another Tarot card..😇
