Kids need/deserve traumatic films. Films that show death or lasting consequences that aren't resolved almost instantly. Fear, anger, grief and frustration should be part of kids movies. Kids arent stupid, they feel big emotions just like adults, they deserve to see those experiences reflected back.

Btw yes I use browser plugins to hide like/repost/comment counts when possible. Unfortunately couldn't find one for tumblr and that's a big reason why I can't use tumblr. For whatever reason comparison culture hits me very hard on that site.

Take/rant of some temperature: Artist mental health would improve across the board if metrics (like counts, # of reposts) on social media went away. I'm talking NOBODY can see like counts, not merely "only you can see your own like counts"
