i've been listening to several podcasts recently with AI experts (former google employees, etc.) who are really worried about AI becoming smarter than humans and also being used for really nefarious things. and then you ALSO have the tech CEOs literally talking about the destruction of humanity...

always so interesting when travel sites attempt to tell you how to pronounce vowels in other languages. in my accent (canadian english) the "a" in "father" and "hall" are the same, but i doubt norwegian A and Å sound the same (i'm not going to stress about it too much lol)

pet peeve when searching for hotels: pictures of room show a bathtub while description says "bathtub or shower". result is you need to email the hotel to check. ai assistant on the site is hot garbage, of course, and just parrots back what the descriptions say (WHY HAVE THIS AT ALL)
